Cultural and Humanitarian Cooperation

The humanitarian relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia mainly include areas such as culture, education, science, sports and religion.

Our countries have always been connected by historical, cultural and religious ties. Scientists from our country have made a great contribution to the development of Islamic civilization.

Every year, many pilgrims from Uzbekistan come to Saudi Arabia to perform the hajj and umra rites, the number of which is growing every year.

On January 20-26, 2019 the delegation of Uzbekistan led by the Chairman of the Committee on Religious Affairs at the Cabinet of Ministers J.Akramov paid visit to KSA. During the visit was organized meeting with the Minister for Hajj and Umrah Affairs of the KSA Salih Binteyn.
